A member asked:

I have just had a cyst removed from my urethra (1.5 weeks ago) is it normal to still have a small lump and will it go in time, or is it permanent?

Unclear for answer..: The specifics of location of the cyst and how its removal was done are unclear enough to deduce right answer. Without further question, I only guess the small lump could be the resolving sutured tissue of the surgical site, which takes more than 4-8 weeks to "completely" resolve; yet, at times, a residual palpable lump may persist forever reflecting the nature of your tissue and the suture used.
