Ulcerative colitis: The inflammatory reaction in your intestine draws water, white blood cells, and the destructive secretions from the inflammatory response from the overstimulated inflammatory cells( wbc's - neutrophils, macrophages , lymphocytes, etc) that cause breakdown if the linings of the intestinal tract and bleeding. These materials usually are more volume than whatever stool may be in the colon
