Irritation: Also, possible infection of urine from sexual relation. The presence of blood in urine may suggest infection. It is hard to tell what kind of infection. It could be bacterial i.e. Treatable with antibiotics, viral i.e. Treatable with antivirus, or other like yeast or protozoal. Would see doc or state health std clinic. Untreated std could cause pelvic inflammatory disease &uti >> kidney infection.

Starting peeing blood with chills. Went to doctor and had a urine sample and a blood sample. They gave me a round of ciprofloxacin 500mg to cure for bladder infection. Could it have spread to kidneys or be more severe then expected?
