A member asked:

Can a plantars wart (on the bottom, outside part of the foot) cause foot, ankle and calf swelling and pain? or is it likely 2 separate issues?

Not directly related: These are likely separate issues. A plantar wart can create pain, resulting in a change in your gait (how you walk) and thus put more pressure on other areas of your leg. Thus, it's theoretically possible these two issues are INDIRECTLY related. However, foot/ankle/calf swelling and pain without an injury make me think about a potential blood clot. Please seek help from a physician if persistent.
