When i lay down my back and sides hurt and it hurts to breathe. what would cause that? drs wont do xray or mri either

Multiple possibiliti: This could be related to muscles and joints from arthritis type problems. If you have pain shooting down your leg + back pain, you may have some disc problems in your lower back in addition to the upper back with your complaints. Pleurisy may do this and can be caused by a number of different problems. More info is needed to answer fully. See a dr again if this persists or worsens. Lose weigh.
