Depends: Depends on whether or not the decay has compromised the integrity of the nerve of the tooth, and how much viable tooth material remains in the crown of the tooth. A Dentist will have to answer that question for you after a comprehensive examination and x-rays. The longer you wait, the greater chance the answer will be "yes." Call your Dentist for appointment.
