How to treat a boil on my face, right next to sideburn? do all boils eventually burst or some get well without getting burst themselves or by a doc?

Boils & pimples: Not every boil, pimple etc eventually bursts. Some resolve on their own w/o rupturing & leaking pus. Try applying warm compresses as hot as tolerated w/o burning yourself. And as frequently as possible. This might help your body to either heal it or drain on its own. Some collections of pus aka abscess do require your Family Doc to lance & drain if warm compresses aren't enough.
