Diuretic dose: Please go back to your doctor -- he needs to adjust your diuretic and medical program.

Diuretics and edema: You probably need to be on a stronger diuretic. If you are taking hctz, (hydrochlorothiazide) it probably has no effect. Ask your doctor about using Lasix (l), if you are on l, have a neprholgoist (n) sned some blood to lab and check your 24 hour urine to see what your kidney function is and if you have proteinuria. A low serum Albumin makes you retain water. CHF can also cause edema. Get help from a n or cardio.
