You are retaining wa: People retain water for simple reasons: not exercising leg muscles and standing or sitting for prolongued periods. Ingestion of two much salt is a common culprit. Certain disease, cardiac, renal, and hepatic are much less common but occur. Legs up is better, but eliminate the cause!
