Bug bait?: Some studies showed that the more C02 one produces the more attractive one is to bugs. In my experience, they tend to prefer female. The best way is avoidance and prevention. Having a fan blowing helps keep insect away. Wear long sleeve blouse and long pants. Avoid too much perfume. Apply insect repellant. If too much C02 is the issue, try holding your breath (just kidding). Good luck.
