My dentist told me that a frenectomy will help my smile. when i smile the corners of go up, but the middle upper lip doesn't, so my teeth don't show ?

Perhaps: If frenulum is short, a frenectomy may help. If cause is neurologic or muscular, it will not. A second opinion by an Oral Surgeon or a Periodontist may be in order.

Possibly: You just may have a low lip line.. not uncommon. Unknown if the frenectomy will help... it can't hurt your smile.
