A member asked:

I went for a teeth cleaning and dentist said i have signs of leukoplakia but i see nothing in my mouth i was told to stop smoking should i be worried?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Leukoplakia is a white plaque on the border of your tongue caused by alterations of the outer cover or epithelium. Smoking is a major cause and can lead to cancer so a biopsy would be in order to see what stage you are at and stop smoking now-good luck
