Unlikely by carrying: It is unlikely that a toddler gets bruised up by carrying things, unless the toddler has a disorder causing easy-bruising (which would usually lead to many leg bruises because toddlers fall down and also run into lots of things). His pediatrician can examine the pattern and appearance of bruises, and perhaps come up with some ideas about them.
