You raised a hypothetical question. In reality, most of LCSW are not trained to make diagnosis of ADHD and recommend specific medication.

In my state such licensed people crossing into their uncertified areas of practice would be disciplined by their board. Likewise teachers who ever suggest it can be terminated. No patient would ever be required to take any medication against their consent. The need may be present, but it is not for them to set up treatment.
