See below: The use of antibiotic can enhance the GI absorption of Coumadin (warfarin) and hence increased inr. Check with your doctor for holding Coumadin (warfarin) until your inr is in therapeutic range. You need the antibiotic if you have a strep infection.

Check doctor: If you have recurrence of infection, you should definitely check with your doctor to make sure the original diagnosis was correct. However, if you didn't finish your antibiotics, that may be the cause of recurrence, and you may need titration of your Coumadin (warfarin) while on therapy. All roads point to returning to your doctor.
