A member asked:

My ears pop whenever i burp or yawn. i also just got back from florida so, alot of swimming and plane rides... don't know if that has anything to do.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

You have: eustachian tube dysfunction, which explains the ears popping. It probably has to do withe plane ride. Your eustachiaan tubes are clogged and pop open when you burp or yawn. Chewing gum may help open them. An oral decongestant may help, like sudafed.
