Idiopathic gastropar: Gastroparesis is a syndrome caused by ineffective propulsion of intragastric contents, indistinguishable clinically from true mechanical obstruction.2 Severity of symptoms varies enormously. In mild cases, patients present with early satiety, nausea, and mild abdominal pain, symptoms which, albeit annoying, are not life threatening. On other occasions, symptoms are highly incapacitating and patients suffer abdominal pain and chronic vomiting which may lead to dehydration and nutritional impairment. In almost 50% of cases no apparent cause is identified2; thus the diagnosis of idiopathic gastroparesis (IG) is established
