Low fiber,Prokinetic: The best thing to do is to withhold solid food until the pain/discomfort goes away. If the nausea is severe, sometimes liquids can't even be kept down. A prokinetic agent, such as Metoclopramide and domperidone (not available in the us) can help, but would try to treat the underlying condition, such as diabetes. After you are better, treat with small frequent feedings of a low fiber diet.
