A member asked:

Is it possible to regrow your gums after they've receeded? what about teeth? if a tooth is chipped or grinded down, can you 'fix' them naturally?

Gums yes, teeth no: Sophisticated gum grafting techniques can easily in the hands of an expert restore receded gums. Talk to one to learn the details. Currently, teeth can not be "naturally" restored, but bonding and advanced restorative procedures can replace the missing tooth structure perfectly! Again, find an expert to explore your options and best of all these won't hurt and you'll feel better about yourself!

Gums and teeth: Gingival tissue is living tissue. It cannot be made to migrate to an area where it has receded, but it can be grafted if needed. The outside of your teeth is composed of a non-living organic matrix and cannot be made to regenerate after chipped or cut down. You'll need a dentist for treatment.
