Periodontitis: When the gum tissue can be moved away from a tooth, it usually means the bone in that area has receded, resulting in periodontal pocketing. Food an bacteria get trapped in this difficult to maintain area and only perpetuate the bone loss. Please get to a dentist in your area and have your entire mouth evaluated. Not treating these problems can result in loss of your teeth.
