A member asked:

Could brain fog (forgetting what to say while speaking) be a result of social anxiety? all blood test fine including thyroid and i sleep 8hrs a night

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Perception problem: Think about what social anxiety means. Generally feeling nervous in social situations, you are probably thinking about what others think of you rather than focusing on the other person and what you're saying. I recommend that you join Toastmasters for some experience speaking. Another possibility is taking a Dale Carnegie course. A psychiatric diagnosis and meds are not the answer.
