A member asked:

I recently went and had a physical done, everything was fine. they did a thyroid test, took 2 tubes of blood and now they tell me i have a elevated white blood cell count and elevated calcium levels. is this serious? i am losing sleep.

Need results: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, it would have helped had you provided the actual results. How much elevated matters.
