Nasal polyps: Most polyps are benign. However, you do need to see an ENT doctor who can examine you with a fiberoptic scope and set up CT imaging to evaluate the extent of the polyps. There is often more than one. You likely need surgery to remove the polyps to biopsy them and help improve symptoms. Polyps usually contribute to congestion, loss of smell, and sinusitis.
