How to tell if i have cavities. i have areas with a yellowish tint on my teeth with some sensitivity ?

You can't...: ...but a dentist can. Has to do with location, texture, color, size, integrity of tooth tissues, and do much more. You cannot treat cavities yourself, let alone adequately diagnose infected tooth tissues. Please call a Professional, a Dentist, for an examination and differential diagnosis.

Don't worry..: ... that's your dentist's responsibility. Call for an appointment. At a minimum you need an examination and a good professional cleaning.
