Event monitor: You have to capture your heartbeat during an episode of symptoms & see if it correlates with an abnormal heart rhythm. An "event monitor" is used to measure your ECG long-term & can help in diagnosis. Your friendly local Cardiologist should have such devices. Holters are just 24 hr monitors - you may not have had any symptoms in that 24hr period. Keep a diary. Good luck, thanks for using HealthTap
