hi, i'm having a spreading swollen reaction to what is probably a bed bug bite(s). cannot get benadryl, (diphenhydramine) will phenylephrine work to help control it?

No: Phenylepherine is a decongestant not an antihistaminic, so it won't control itching or 'allergic reaction'. If you can't get benadryl (diphenhydramine) for whatever reason right now, try having a shower and apply cold compresses till you see a doctor, good luck
