One of my toes has been extremely itchy, swollen and hurts when i try to bend. tried benadryl (diphenhydramine) anti itch and few others. not a bug bite, what is it?

Fungal?: When an area gets itchy and swollen plus some pain, there are many potential causes but I think a fungal infection is the most likely cause. However it may be a mixed bacterial and fungal infection as well. See doctor.
