Not recommended: Children's cold medication not recommended for the under 6 yo crowd. Instead give honey 1 tsp every 4 -6 hours for cough.

Cold medicine: Check with your pediatrician first: depends if she has any other medical issues. (Also note: Avoid raw honey intake in children under 12 months of age given risk of Clostridium bacteria)
