No: I would say the chances are pretty slim of catching any disease this way. There is no risk of catching HIV this way. The most contagious virus would be hepatitis B, and the odds of the blood being contaminated by this virus is very small in Canada. The entire country only had 2000 known cases out of a population of 35 million! Pretty slim odds of coming in contact with Hep B!
