A member asked:

Am a high myope, uncorrected. i do wear glasses. can my distance vision actually get better on its own over time?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably not.: Generally, one gets nearsighted between the ages of 5 to 15, gets worse until the late teens or early 20s and then stabilizes. It usually does not get better. Wearing or not wearing glasses will not change the outcome.
