Not normal: But not unheard of. May be reaction to the anesthetic, or an infection problem, or one of many other reasons. Did treating General Dentist or specialist Endodontists give you post-treatment instructions such as cold compresses, antibiotics, analgesics, etc? If so, follow them to the letter. If you are concerned, call your practitioner and report your problems.
