A member asked:

Fizzing sensation in one nostril ( on the top inside) comes and goes , not constant . what are the causes ? side note , had a root canal done on my front tooth on the same side a week ago days later this started . can it be related ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

This very vague symptom is most likely caused by mild irritability of a nerve in that region. It may not be far fetched to think that it had something to do with all the local anesthetic used during the root canal procedure. The endodontist would be best to answer your question.
