Can eating 5 lbs of potato salad cause kidney injury for someone in kidney failure? she was in icu after couldn't wake her up, cognitive issues,spasms

Itdepends on how: much salt was in the potato salad. If a good deal of salt,,her kidneys could not handle it and thus caused kidney injury. If no salt, then I don't know.
