None really: Different labs assign different reference ranges depending on their population, methods, your age and gender, or whatever. Serum ferritin is usually 15-150 for a young woman, but is more worrisome if over 400. Your physician knows how to understand all this. I'm glad you're addressing your iron deficiency and hope the cause of your blood loss can be identified / managed.

The 94 is: better than the 57 because it is higher,more towards the middle range. Keep building it up. You're doing well. The level ranges depend on what lab is being used to measure and read them.
