Had RNY in 2009. I've had iron infusions with very good results. Ferritin will not stabilize. It was 32 (1mo after infusion) 18 and now 9.
I have low ferritin ,so I have iron infusions ,mylevels were 57 ug/L (15-400) after a month 94 ug/L (15-150) , what's the difference in the 2 ranges?
Are venofer and ferritin ivs the same chemically? I seem to have different results from these iron infusions, with better results from the slow drip.
