Venous stasis.: The veins have been injured and are slowing the venous return. If the blood is sluggish in draining the foot, the foot will turn blue. Elevation gives a gravity assist and helps with the ease of flowing. This will allow the color to return to normal. The tincture of time will allow the sluggish flow to return to normal.
