On days like today when the mold count is at moderate or higher, is there anything extra i can take or do as my sinuses go haywire?

Try otc: antihistamines such as Zyrtec or Claritin (loratadine). Or decongestant such as Sudafed. If these don't work, it is time to see a doctor.
