I've had a penny sized lymph node under my jaw for about 4 days. i've have stuff my sinuses now and cold sore. it's a little tender. how long do fussy lymph nodes take to return to normal? i have read 1 to 2 weeks. some sources say longer. thoughts?

Not concerning: If the lymph node recently appeared and is tender it is almost certainly benign and a result of a recent infection. It will slowly reduce in size. Recheck it in 2 -3 weeks. If still no change recheck again in 2-3 weeks. In the UNLIKELY event that it doesn't resolve have it checked by your physician.
