I was rx 20mg prednisone 1/day for 5days for earache that began to worsen & radiate to sinuses. took first dose today & am having uncontrollable hot flashes & sweating. is it safe to just not take the other 4 pills? thank you.

Probably stop: Sounds like you are sensitive to the steroid. Some people are more sensitive than others. If a steroid would help perhaps a nasal steroid would be better. However, probably the best and most beneficial thing is to use nasal saline or nettipot.
