When can i use for a yeast infection while breastfeeding?

Fluconazole oral or: clotrimazole twice daily for 3 days have been found to be equally effective in one study. Infants often develop thrush, or oral candidiasis and tolerate oral fluconazole well so trace amounts in breast milk would be safe for your breastfeeding infant. Minimal vaginal medication would be absorbed, and that option works well for some women.
