I believe you are: reporting that your monocyte count done as part of your white blood cell/WBC differential count, is 13.5%; normal is 2-10%. Your results include what the total WBC count is which is likely normal. If the only thing out of line on the test is a 3.5% apparent increase in the proportion of monocytes, this is very likely normal. If other things were out of line, one might consider a chronic infection.
