A member asked:

If you have endometriosis removed can it come back after a couple of months? i had it removed in december 2015 and now i'm getting pains again

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Endometriosis recurs: Unfortunately, under normal conditions, endometriosis tries to come back gradually with each menstrual cycle. The process can be slowed with hormonal treatment. We recommend healthy low fat diet, aerobic exercise, NSAID and some form of extra progesterone. This can be natural progesterone or stronger synthetic progestins as a daily Med or in the form of contraceptives. There are stronger drugs too
