Is it safe (non lethal) to have 2 drinks with 0.5mg klonopin? i've done it several times. is valium safer than say xanax (alprazolam) w/regards to having 2 drinks?

None are good: None of these are good to mix w/ alcohol. It may never kill you, but it's not safe and depending on other variations in your input (diet, illnesses, state of general health) it may suddenly be more risky. Talk frankly w/ your Dr and consider quitting drinking while you need the drug treatment. Talk therapy is am option and CBT helps anxiety mgmt best!
