I take prozac and have been taking duromine 30 for the past 2 weeks, is this safe and can i also take xanax (alprazolam) or valium at night for anxiety?

BZD+stimulant+SSRI: Duromine (phentermine) is a stimulant which can lead to worsened anxiety and insomnia. It can also cause or worsen depression. Similar to Ativan and xanax, (alprazolam) this medication can be habit forming, tolerance and dependance can occur, and a vicious cycle may set in. The question is best answered by the prescribing physician.
