Not really: The dosing on this and most antibiotics depends on weight AND what you are treating.If it were a UTI or bronchitis where the abx gets into the germ areas easily we can use less, if ear infection we have to use more to get in.The dosing recommended for ear infections is 80-90 mg/kg/day.This would calculate to 716 mg twice a day or 1.78 tsp. Most just round up to 2 because the extra is not a problem
