I am having ear pain and stiff neck 8 days after having my wisdom teeth removed. do i go back to the dentist or to a doctor for this?

Either: The nerves that supply those areas also share a branch with the teeth. Phantom pain in the teeth can relate to the irritation/inflammation that comes with such a procedure.You might try some ibuprofen in the short term to see if it helps. Either doc could manage your discomfort.

Dentist: Start with the dentist who did the surgery (he or she is a doctor too!). The dentist will decide on your future care needs.
