Yes it is, but...: I have never found hydroxycitrate (the active compound in garcinia) to be effective clinically. The most effective ways to deal with diabetes, high blood pressure and cholesterol is with reducing calorie intake, eliminating refined carbohydrates, sugars, alcohol and animal fats and increasing vigorous aerobic exercise to 30 minutes daily. There are no magic bullets in a pill.
