There are several...: Jaw pain would be the most common condition related to wisdom teeth. Also swelling, redness, drainage of pus, limited oral opening and fever. In addition, wisdom teeth can mimic temporomandibular (TMJ) disorders and can cause teeth to shift resulting in a malocclusion (bad bite). In rare cases, wisdom teeth erupt and function normally, but that's very unusual. Most should be removed.
