They usually don't.: In modern man, we usually don't have enough room for our wisdom teeth to erupt into a normal position in the mouth. They are referred to as being 'impacted' and a recommendation is usually made to have them removed. Wisdom teeth are fully formed by the mid-to late teen years, but may be removed before that time.
