When do wisdom teeth start to grow?

Depends: They can start to erupt into your mouth at a very early age. I have taken wisdom teeth out on a 13 year old girl before, but the average is late teens.

In the bone as buds : By age 12-14 one will see developing tooth buds on the x ray. All of your body is embriologically completely formed at birth except your teeth and your sex organs. A developing tooth forms from a few cells....It is not just down there in the bone waiting to erupt.
